Subtronics & Rezz - Black Ice (Single)

Well, they've done it again. Rezz & Subtronics have united to create a track that defies genre constraints and even more, sounds both nothing and everything like them individually. "Black Ice" is a beast of a tune, opening with a colorfully cinematic synthwave intro and across its numerous peaks and valleys, it somehow unexpectedly ends up in house music territory. But it is house music by way of Hypnovizion and Cyclops Recordings, of course, so it sounds nothing like your grandma's house music of yore. Surprising as some of the risks taken in this track might seem, anyone who's heard "Puzzle Box" will know to only expect the unexpected when these two forces of nature come together. "Black Ice" is one that needs to be heard to be believed but, when experienced live, it is sure to slap you around in all the cutest ways possible so maybe wear protection.
